Randall Reilly Partners is hiring Heavy Duty Truck Technicians for a well-established client in the Gentry, Arkansas area. Heavy Duty Truck Technician 2nd shift Week 1: Sunday Wednesday 3:00 p.m. 1:30 a.m. Week 2: Monday Thursday 3:00 p.m. 1:30 a.m. Heavy Duty Truck Technician Pay Rate $23.89-$39.87/ hr DOE Plus $1. Shift Premium Job Summary A Truck Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining gas and/or diesel engines in cars, pickups, vans, heavy duty trucks and diagnosing, repairing and maintaining semi trailers. Capable of reading schematics, wiring diagrams, blue prints, etc. Good perception, judgment and decision making skills Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Ability to document and process information Must have tools to support general Class 8 truck and trailer repairs Capable of performing tire and wheel break-down, build up, balancing and alignment Knowledgeable in performing diagnostic checks on electrical systems Able to diagnose fuel and lubrication system problems and make repairs Capable of performing repairs and adjustments on truck, trailer ABS and air brake systems, differentials, clutches, drive line, suspensions, transmissions and steering Experience in performing trailers repairs Ability to perform heavy lifting 50+ pounds on a regular basis Must have or be able to obtain McKee Forklift license within 90 days on the job Must have or be able to obtain ASE Medium/Heavy duty certification based on the pay level at the time of hire as prescribed in the technicians syllabus, the required certification must be obtained within one year of the hire Must be able to work overtime, or other shifts when necessary Must have EPA approved air conditioning certification or obtain within 30 days on the job Willing to travel for training, and other process improvement events Preferred Qualifications Diploma in Diesel and Truck Technology General computer knowledge Certified Welder Class A CDL may be required on business needs
