The Category Advisor can distill insights from a variety of data sources to develop business plans that drive category and Kraft Heinz volume . The Category Advisor manages all activities relating to optimizing assortment and space management for assigned categories and customers.The Category Advisor is the unbiased expert on key Kraft Heinz categories , customers' shoppers, insight development, efficient assortment and optimal shelf placement. The Category Advisor identifies opportunities and addresses both Kraft's and the customer's needs through the integration of research (primary and secondary), analysis, insights, reporting and presentation. The Category Advisor is an expert in syndicated tools including scanner, HH panel, Spectra and other resources. The Category Advisor can apply and integrate buying dynamics such as purchase frequency, buy rate, buyer conversion and category leakage to consumer and shopper research to develop business-building recommendations. The Category Advisor can conduct assortment analysis and SKU optimization using syndicated tools and can create best-in-class planograms utilizing space management software.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities : Unbiased expert on key Kraft Heinz categories , category drivers, customers and customer's shoppersExpert in the analysis of syndicated data (scanner, HH panel, Spectra, etc.) leading to key insights and business recommendations on distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion.Conducts assortment assessments and creates planograms for assigned categories and customersDevelops and integrates consumer, shopper and retailer insights to better inform targeted strategies, plans and decisionsLeverage insight resources to prioritize consumer and shopper needs and opportunitiesIntegrates data from a variety of sources to develop impactful customer-specific selling stories in support of key category business building initiatives.Liaison to internal/external supply chain in regards to efficient assortmentLeads broader space initiatives across aisle and storeUnderstands and applies best-practice category management processImplements Kraft Heinz Foods shelving principles and standardsPartners with Customer Business Leads in the development of insight-based new item presentationsApplies the full suite of tools against business issues.Conducts training of customer teams to broaden their understanding of sales information and tools available for business tracking and analysis.Job Skill Qualifications/Abilities : 2-4 years consumer package goods industry experienceStrong analytic / problem solving capabilityStrong syndicated and panel data knowledgeSpace management software skillsGood project management and training skills Ability to comprehend and sell space management concepts within the context of category managementStrong personal computer skills especially Microsoft Office productsSolid written / oral communication and interpersonal skillsMinimum Bachelor's degreeJob Skills Developed Ability to analyze the business from a category perspective, identify the key business drivers and quantify their impact on the business, deliver business insights, make actionable recommendations to grow the businessUnderstanding of analysis and application of scanner, consumer purchase behavior data and attitudinal researchLeadership skills in identification of and addressing business opportunities Innovation and creativity in the development of and localization of selling stories such as for new item introductions and key business initiativesBroaden analytical tool set skills through application against business issuesProject management skillsCategory management expertiseStronger o ral / written communication skills Kraft Heinz is an EEO employer - Minorities/Women/Vets/Disabled and other protected categories.Location(s) Rogers Sales
