Job Description:
Job Description Summary: Pursue new clients and generate new
leads for the bank. Be involved in networking, volunteer in the
community, and organize customer events. Gather and analyze data in
order to recommend products and services to clients. Duties:
Develop business relationships with existing and potential clients.
Maintain weekly prospect report and discuss opportunities with
Retail Banking Manager. Maintain accurate records of business calls
and sales activities. Identify and present to management new
service opportunities for the bank. Market the Remote Deposit
Capture (RDC) and Cash Management programs. Sell, install and
service RDC installations for customers. Maintain RDC & Cash
Management reports and logs to meet regulatory compliance. Ensure
proper controls are adhered to by performing customer site visits.
Coordinate, plan and execute sales activities, manage accounts and
also support existing client---s account details and manage them
effectively. Act as a liaison between our merchant services partner
and our customers. Take ownership & deliver timely resolutions of
customer issues. Establish relationships with prospective customers
through local community organizations and professional networking
opportunities. Represent the bank by volunteering in the Bank---s
market area. Assist with various profitability reports concerning
products and services. Promote and refer United Bank products and
services and further establish business relationships when
possible. Represent United Bank in a positive and professional
manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge,
Abilities: Thorough knowledge of small business, commercial, and
consumer banking products and services. Good knowledge of federal
and state regulations affecting banking functions. Ability to make
one-on-one and group presentations. Work well in a fast paced,
deadline driven environment. Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to multi-task. Show strong initiative. Advanced
organizational skills. Possess interpersonal skills to communicate
with customers, vendors, and colleagues in a courteous and
professional manner at all times. Strong desire to work in a team
environment and support the Bank with a positive attitude. Foster a

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor degree in
finance or related field preferred Experience: 3 years progressive
retail banking or lending experience 2 years proven sales
