Are you looking for a new opportunity? We need you! Staffmark is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Printing Press Operator Assistant Responsibilities and Duties for -Printing Press Operator -Assistant -include, but not limited to:

  • Helping prepare inks for every job
  • Changing ink drums as needed
  • Assisting to stage ink as required
  • Providing managing assistance in ink room, storage, and waste
  • Helping label all drums with proper labels
  • Assisting with inspection of printed samples for defects/color variations and correct as required
  • Assisting with miscellaneous tasks upon request
    • Assisting with proper inventory and HAZCOM labeling
    • Assisting with inspection of printed material for defects
    • Helping handle and disposing of hazardous waste
    • PPE required for handling Hazardous materials
    • Candidates must be able to visually tell the difference in similar shades of color
    • Must be able to stand throughout the duration of the shift
    • Must be organized, detailed and work at a fast pace with changing priorities throughout the day Skills needed
      • Able to lift 40 pounds continuously
      • Able to work in solvent based ink environment
      • Able to read tape measure and do basic math About the Job Pay Rate: $15.00.-15.60 / hour Shifts: Monday-Friday 1st 6:45am -2:00 pm 2nd 2:00pm-10:45pm 3rd 10:00pm-6:30pm Perks, we got them!
