the supervision of the Ultrasound Lead, Manager/Director of Imaging
Services and Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound
Education: Successful graduation from a nationally accredited
school of sonography.
Current BLS certification. ARDMS
certification or registry eligible.—must be ARDMS registered within
1 year of hire. It is also the responsibility of the
technologist to maintain all necessary education set by ARDMS and
Preferred Certifications: RVT and/or additional ARDMS
Other: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read and
communicate effectively in English. Working conditions, mental and physical
requirements: This individual must be capable of:
manipulating Ultrasound equipment including mobile and other
equipment; lifting, moving and transporting patients’ continual
standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to
fast pace daily work load; communicating
