Job Description Job Description Job Title: Medical Assembler Job Description As a Medical Assembler, you will be responsible for producing and inspecting various catheter devices both manually and using specialized equipment. You will follow detailed work instructions to assemble medical devices in a clean room environment. The role involves using small instruments to solder and assemble catheters for the heart, utilizing a microscope, and documenting information for each product. Precision is crucial as these are medical devices, requiring every step to be executed correctly the first time. Responsibilities Produce and inspect catheter devices using manual and equipment-based methods. Follow work instructions to assemble medical devices in a clean room. Utilize small instruments for soldering and assembling catheters. Use a microscope for detailed inspection and assembly tasks. Document information for each product accurately and promptly. Ensure precision and correctness in every step of the assembly process. Essential Skills 2 years of experience in a medical device clean room manufacturing environment. 1 year of catheter-specific experience or manual soldering experience. Proficiency in understanding and interpreting written procedures. High school diploma or GED. Experience with microscopes and small parts. Proficiency in basic math and mathematical problem solving. Additional Skills & Qualifications Wire assembly experience. Hand dexterity for detailed assembly tasks. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Knowledge of packaging and inspection processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
