This role is critical in optimizing our digital and physical commerce integration, allowing us to better serve millions of customers worldwide. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will focus on the creation and maintenance of our systems that operate our vast logistics and retail network. Your efforts will directly enhance the shopping experience of our customers, reflecting Walmart's commitment to service and innovation. Develop scalable and secure back-end services and APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems across various platforms. Optimize system performance to improve user experiences and system efficiencies. Implement comprehensive testing and validation processes. Maintain up-to-date documentation and system architecture records. Stay informed of new technology trends in back-end development and retail applications. Mentor junior engineers and participate in the review of peer coding.
