Job Description:
Job Description Job Summary The BT/RBT works directly with
children on their caseload providing intervention using the
principles of ABA therapy under the direction of the Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position includes the
implementation of a treatment plan developed by the BCBA addressing
communication, behavior, feeding, life skills, and social skills.
It is essential that they demonstrate professionalism, a respect
for confidentiality and a commitment to the agency's mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide 1:1 intervention
using ABA principles. 2. Implement individualized treatment plans
developed by the BCBA. 3. Collect data to monitor the progress and
effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan. 4. Provide
regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals to
supervisor and child’s team. 5. Support the BCBA with training
families on implementing individualized treatment plans. 6.
Collaborate with child’s treatment team to ensure consistency. 7.
Adheres to the agency’s confidentiality policy. 8. Accept feedback
from supervisor and apply to treatment. Other Duties and
Responsibilities: 1. Participate in team meetings and trainings. 2.
Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code
of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
3. Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment. 4. Other duties
as assigned that support the agency’s mission. This job description

as deemed appropriate. Qualifications 1. Education requirements -
High School Diploma or GED 2. Registered Behavior Technician or
must successfully complete 40-hour RBT training and pass the RBT
Competency Assessment within 90 days from start date. 3. Experience
working with preschool-aged children preferred. 4. Experience
working with children with developmental delays or disabilities and
parents preferred. 5. Experience working as a member of an
interdisciplinary team preferred. Background clearance from the
Child and Adult Abuse and Maltreatment Central Registry and
Arkansas State Police criminal background check. Meet agency’s drug
screening requirements. 8. Essential physical and mental
requirements to perform the duties of this position include: Must
be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate
for long periods of time. Regularly required to talk or hear.
Regularly required to document information using a computer program
and/or make handwritten notes. The employee frequently is required
to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or
controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit;
reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel,
crouch, or crawl. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 40
pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and
the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate to loud. Desired Abilities and

Days/hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hours daily between the hours of
7:30 AM – 6:30 PM, as assigned per supervisor. This position’s work
requirements are based on the annual, in-center staff calendar.
