CBMOReporting to: Director of Human Resources, CBMOLocation:
Bentonville, AR (On-site)Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is
seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual
to join the team as Human Resources Generalist. AWE supports
operating non-profits founded by AliceWalton including the Alice L.
Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges,
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and
Heartland Whole Health Institute.About the PositionAs a Human
Resources Generalist, you will help deliver the company's mission
by supporting all employees at Crystal Bridges and The Momentary.
This role will have both administrative & strategic
responsibilities. This work includes interacting with employees at
all levels, implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring
compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. As an HR
Generalist, you will play a critical role in providing
comprehensive HR support across various functional area including
recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance
and change management.What you will doResponsibilities
- Manage full cycle onboarding process to include preparing offer
letters, memos and processing new hires in Workday.
- Help develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding
efforts and employee termination process. Manage employee
offboarding process, including exit interviews.
- Track and maintain accurate employee records, including
personnel files and other HR-related documentation
- Effectively collaborate with management and entity specific HR
teams to maximize performance by anticipating problems, advising of
risks associated with current business practices and recommending
improvements
- Responds to human resources related questions and issues from
managers and employees (e.g., performance, discipline, termination,
etc.) to ensure accurate and consistent interpretation and
application of policies and procedures
- Apply decision making and risk management across all company
projects and initiatives to ensure employee retention, engagement,
and efficiency in operations
- Managing compliance with federal, state, and local laws and
regulations and company policies and procedures by keeping current
on laws and regulations related to general human resource practices
and regulations related to licensure and certification;
implementing and monitoring HR compliance; implementing action
plans to improve performance and reduce instances of
non-compliance; and directing management teams in ensuring
confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned
records
- Independently conduct thorough employee relations
investigations, meticulously gathering evidence and conducting
interviews. Prepare comprehensive investigation summary reports,
analyzing findings and providing clear and actionable
recommendations to management.
- Escalate and involve senior management and / or legal on
critical issues as appropriate.
- Counsel, coach and mediate issues or concerns with employees
and or supervisors to obtain a reasonable resolution.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies,
procedures, and programs to support the organization's goals and
objectives. Help to develop playbooks with standardized approaches
for use throughout the ecosystem to drive efficiency and ensure
consistent positive experiences for associates
- Support and guide internal efforts for diversity and
inclusion
- Assist with monthly budget process.
- Partner with benefits & payroll on WC, ADA, FMLA, PTO,
timekeeping, etc.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.Professional
Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources,
or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g.,
SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- Minimum of five years various HR Functions preferred
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR
role
- Strong knowledge in HR best practices, labor laws and
regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with
internal team members and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with payroll processes and systems
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple open
positions simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and ability to
learn new software applications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment,
remaining adaptable and resilient
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet
deadlines
