Job Description:

nursing process to deliver safe, effective, patient?centered care.
This position maintains professional accountability for the care
provided to assigned patients and evaluates the overall
effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers. The RN
collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient
care, ensures protection of patient rights, and maintains
confidentiality of all patient information. All duties are
performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and
Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Qualifications:
Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
(Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure - Responsible for
obtaining and maintaining an active RN license in the state of hire
and/or compact licensure, meeting all State Board of Nursing
requirements. Experience - Experience requirements may vary by
unit; relevant clinical experience preferred. Certifications -
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, or
completion within 30 days of hire. One or more of the following
certifications may be required based on the position or unit, or
must be obtained within the department?required timeframe: - ACLS –
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation
Program - ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course - TNCC – Trauma
Nursing Core Course - CPHON – Certified Pediatric
Hematology/Oncology Nurse - OCN – Oncology Certified Nurse - PALS –
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PEARS – Pediatric Emergency
Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization - S.T.A.B.L.E. – Six
Assessment & Care Modules - C?EFM – Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Certification - Other unit?specific certifications as required
Physical Requirements - Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50
lbs on a regular basis. - Prolonged standing and walking required
during each shift. - Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist,
