Position: OB/GYN Hospitalist & Site Director Location: Springfield, MO Hospitals: Cox Medical Center South & Mercy Hospital Springfield About the Programs Cox Medical Center South: 644-bed acute care facility with Level III NICU, MFM consults, and in-house OB anesthesia. Mercy Hospital Springfield: Family-centered maternity care, modern birthing suites, Level III NICU, and nationally recognized for maternity excellence. What Does an OB/GYN Hospitalist Do? - Care for all pregnant women who present emergently - Support private practice physicians & unassigned patients - Deliver babies, perform surgery & assist in procedures - Provide consultations to the ED - Mentor residents, medical students & nurses - Participate in safety drills, best practices & quality initiatives What is an OBHG Site Director?
