Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Fort Smith, AR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Fort Smith, Arkansas, 72903! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: Caring for level 3 NICU infants, including: High Frequency vents, Conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC, Nitric, Whole body cooling, OG/NG/PO feedings, UAC, UVC, PICC, PIV, Attending high risk deliveries, Attending all cesarean section deliveries. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse specializing in NICU. The shift is from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekly hours are guaranteed at 36. The unit typically cares for infants requiring various types of respiratory support and monitoring. Patient ratios depend on acuity, commonly 3 feeders, 2 CPAP, 1 nitric, and 1 cooling. Experience in level 3 or 4 NICU is required. Floating to mother-baby or pediatrics may occur, but is unlikely due to high census. Preferred certification includes STABLE certification.
