This pivotal role involves managing and overseeing the nursing operations of our critical care transport units, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with a robust background in critical care, adept at coaching and developing nursing staff, and skilled in maintaining optimal patient transport protocols. Oversee daily operations of the critical care transport nursing team, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and patient safety standards. Coordinate and manage patient care during transport, ensuring adherence to established clinical guidelines. Mentor and lead nursing staff, promoting professional development and operational excellence. Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes during high-risk transports. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of patient care and operational efficiency. Strong leadership and organizational skills Expertise in critical care nursing and patient transportation Ability to manage high-stress situations and make critical decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in healthcare technology and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license valid in the state of Missouri Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
