Job Description:
Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to
provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by
a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or
under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care
for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in
conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and
confidentiality of patient information. Position Details: Education
Assistance Tuition Reimbursement $2,000 per year $30k in initial RN
degree assistance $3000 Relocation Assistance for full time only
Weekend Differential Shift Differential for qualifying hours
between 3pm-7am Weekend Option Days: WEO rates weekend differential
Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates weekend differential straight
night shift differential New Increased Weekend Option Differential:
$8.00 LPN Day-One comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance
Employer-Matched Retirement Funds Qualifications: Education:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration
will be given for comparable education experience and successful
licensure. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and
maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which
nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of
Nursing requirements Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
Certifications: LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed
or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire (range
from upon hire to within 1 year) Basic Life Support certification
through the American Heart Association or successful completion of
course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements/demands:
Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds
on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking
each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend,
kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties 4C- serves the medical
cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases
while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The
types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management
needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable
dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and
gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of
patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient
infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
