We are seeking a board-certified Rheumatologist for a 10-week locum tenens assignment with our client in Arkansas. The opportunity starts Jan 5, 2026, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7am to 4pm, including after-hours call coverage and inpatient consults. This assignment focuses on a variety of rheumatology cases in both clinic and call settings. Job Details - Location: Arkansas - Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 - LOA: 10 weeks - Provider Type Needed: Rheumatologist - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm clinic plus 24-hour out-of-hours call and consults after clinic. Seeking two weeks of coverage in January, with exact dates to be confirmed. Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive rheumatology care in clinic and during call - Manage a diverse case mix including fibromyalgia, gout, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, myositis, and related autoimmune conditions - Respond to inpatient consults during after-hours call periods - Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care - Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation - Adhere to all applicable clinical protocols and regulatory requirements Additional Information - Active Arkansas medical license required - Board certification in Rheumatology required - Minimum 2 years of experience in rheumatology practice - Assignment dates may be adjusted based on emergent credentialing needs Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
