Oncology (Days) Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
specializing in Renal Oncology delivers patient care under the
guidance of Registered Nurses (RNs) or authorized prescribers,
ensuring treatment coordination while upholding patient
confidentiality. Key responsibilities encompass patient
evaluations, compliance with nursing standards, and fulfilling
physical tasks such as assisting with patient mobility and lifting.
Essential certifications include Basic Life Support and LPN-IV,
along with any additional unit-specific certifications as required,
fostering a supportive and collaborative healthcare atmosphere

the nursing process, the LPN provides care under the supervision of
licensed professionals authorized by state regulatory boards to
prescribe treatments or under the direction of a Registered Nurse
(RN). The LPN is accountable for delivering patient care to
assigned individuals, coordinating with various departments, and
safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities
are carried out in alignment with our mission, values, and service
standards. Position Details: Licensure: Must be a graduate of an
accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational
experience and successful licensure may also be considered. The LPN
is responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid license in the
state where nursing duties are performed, adhering to all State
Board of Nursing regulations. Physical Requirements: The role
requires standing or walking for the majority of the shift, along
with considerable bending, stooping, and assisting in lifting and
turning patients. The LPN should be able to push, pull, or grip
weights up to 50 pounds. Experience: Open to both new and seasoned
LPNs. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the
American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30
days of hire. LPN-IV Certification must be completed prior to or
within 3 months of hire (with a range from upon hire to within 1
year). Note: Depending on the specific position or unit, one or
more of the following certifications may be required, or must be
obtained within the designated timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac
Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS
(Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E.
(Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And
Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules Other
unit-specific certifications as necessary. Additional Information:
