Position Summary: Employing the nursing process, this role involves
delivering patient care while maintaining professional
accountability for the care provided to assigned patients. The
nurse will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by
other caregivers and coordinate patient care in collaboration with
various departments. Upholding patient rights and ensuring
confidentiality of patient information is essential.

Residency Program Our organization offers a transition-to-practice
RN residency program designed to assist newly licensed registered
nurses in moving from student status to confident, independent
nursing practice. This structured, evidence-based program includes
comprehensive and personalized departmental orientation, hands-on
clinical training, and continuous mentorship to ensure a seamless
and successful start to your nursing career. Participants will
collaborate with experienced preceptors, attend targeted
educational sessions, and work in a supportive environment that
encourages critical thinking, clinical judgment, and professional
development. Key Information Program Start Date: The residency
program is scheduled to commence on February 16, 2026. Duration:
This one-year program provides extensive support and training to
help new nurses navigate their initial year in practice, preparing
them for a rewarding and enduring career. Available Opportunities:
New graduates will be placed in the following departments:
Med/Tele: A 22-bed unit catering to a diverse patient population,
including post-operative patients with potential chest tubes and
surgical drains, peritoneal dialysis, and cardiac patients
requiring non-titratable drips. Career Path: Ideal for those
considering a future in cardiac or neuro-specific critical care,
procedural nursing, or post-operative/PACU nursing. Ratio: 6:1
Cardiac/Neuro: A 24-bed unit specializing in cardiac and
neurological care for patients experiencing strokes, seizures,
altered mental status, or cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial
fibrillation. Career Path: Suitable for nurses interested in
emergency care, cath lab, interventional radiology, or critical
care. Ratio: 6:1 Med/Surg: A 48-bed mixed unit providing
comprehensive care for both acute and chronic patients, including
those with pneumonia, oncology needs, post-operative care, and
chronic disease management. Career Path: Perfect for nurses seeking
a broad range of skills and experience, establishing a strong
foundation for success in any nursing field. Ratio: 6:1
Ortho/Surgical: A 22-bed clean surgical floor focused on joint,
back, and specialty surgeries. Career Path: A great starting point
for nurses aiming to pursue a career in surgery, sports medicine,
or orthopedics. Ratio: 6:1 Eligibility Criteria: Experience: 12
months or less of RN experience Education: Nursing degree from an
accredited institution License: Temporary RN Arkansas license or RN
compact license Certifications: Basic Life Support certification
