Position Summary The Registered Nurse (PACU) role involves
delivering patient care through the nursing process, collaborating
with various departments, and ensuring the confidentiality of
patient information. Candidates must possess an RN license,
relevant certifications such as BLS and ACLS, and the physical
capability to perform tasks that include lifting and standing for
extended periods. This position offers flexible PRN hours and

patient care. Maintains professional responsibility for the care
provided to assigned patients. Assesses the overall effectiveness
of care delivered by other caregivers. Coordinates patient care in
collaboration with other departments. Upholds patient rights and

standards. Position Details: Job Title: Registered Nurse
Department: PACU Work Schedule: PRN Qualifications: Education: Must
have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's
Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a valid RN license in the state of employment or
compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American
Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of
hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the
specific position or unit, or must be obtained within the
designated timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NRP
(Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric
Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) CPHON (Certified
Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor
Certification) Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Requirements: • Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift
up to 50 lbs. • Prolonged standing and walking are required during
each shift. • Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and
