You will also consult with doctors regarding the effectiveness of treatments and serve as a knowledgeable resource for both medical staff and nursing teams on respiratory care matters. Position Types: RRT and CRT GIG Compensation: $35/hour for RRT and $30/hour for CRT, plus variable shift incentives. Enjoy flexibility in choosing day or night shifts and the number of hours you wish to work. No mandatory weekend, holiday, or specific shift requirements. GIG Highlights: Base Rate: $30 (CRT) - $35 (RRT) per hour W-2 Employment Status Variable Shift Incentives Available Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Job Responsibilities: You will be responsible for: Delivering direct patient care in all areas of respiratory therapy as per physician orders. Consulting with physicians on the effectiveness of treatment plans. Serving as an advanced resource for medical staff regarding respiratory care. Completing additional assigned tasks as necessary. Qualifications: Education: Completion of a CoArc accredited Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Must meet state licensing requirements and hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Certifications: Must possess either the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those working in the Emergency Room, PALS certification is required, along with ACLS certification. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience is required, excluding orientation time. Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, with minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Equipment Utilized: All relevant respiratory care equipment.
