and indirect patient care services that meet the psychological,
physical and general aspect of care: utilizes the nursing process
in patient care; meets the communication and education needs of
patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and

Communicates in a professional, positive, and assertive manner
congruent with Mercy Service Standards. Communicates with
physicians and other team members about changes in patients'
conditions and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes
in condition or response to treatment. The Mercy Joplin ED is a
team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nurse
practitioners, RN’s and other clinicians who provide direct care at
the Level II Trauma center. Our Joplin ED has 2 on-site helipads, 3
dedicated triage rooms, 21 exam, 6 trauma and 5 behavioral health
rooms. Qualifications: - Required Education: Nursing Degree from an
accredited school - Experience: Preferred experience in Critical
Care setting - License: Current RN license in our state and/or
compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must
meet all state board of nursing requirements - Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart
