*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room and Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a compassionate approach to nursing, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care during critical moments. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

*Duties*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patient conditions.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems.
* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards within the ER environment.
* Assist in various procedures, including laboratory tests and cardiac catheterization when necessary.
* Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, adapting approaches based on age-specific needs.

*Requirements*
* Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, and emergency care protocols.
* Experience in an inpatient setting is preferred, with exposure to emergency nursing being highly desirable.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
* Familiarity with laboratory procedures and the ability to interpret lab results effectively.
* A commitment to providing compassionate care while managing high-stress situations efficiently.
* Previous experience in pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
