We're collaborative and believe in always going above and beyond as part of our commitment to deliver excellent care to our community! *Job Overview:* The Infection Prevention LPN works directly to support the direction, coordination and implementation of the Jordan Valley improvement program. This LPN utilizes trends in practice and data to determine risk areas and implement mitigation strategies at Jordan Valley Community Health Center. Affordable rates for family dental and life insurance. * 403b retirement match on the 1st of the month after 30 days. * Employee Assistance Program * Day One PTO Accrual * 9 Paid Holidays * Free On Site Fitness Facility at our Springfield Tampa Clinic *Duties:* * Establishes, implements and administers infection prevention standards including, program plans, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with HRSA, OSHA, CDC, accrediting bodies, and any other applicable county, state, and federal regulatory agencies. * Develops, implements and oversees Infection Prevention and Control plan, policies and procedures, as well as risk assessments and other required infection prevention or employee wellness programs/plans, e.g. OSHA respiratory protection program. * Supports facilitation of Infection Prevention, and Medication Management Committee meetings. Prepares reports and statistics for various audiences and reporting requirements. * Participates in staff and management meetings as they relate to infection prevention activities. * Develops and provides in-service training to provider and non-provider staff in the area of infection prevention, and safety topics and issues. * Assists with UDS, HRSA, FTCA, PCMH and AAAHC, or other accreditation or certification reports as requested. * Collaborates with and serves as a resource to the clinical team, all departments and employees of Jordan Valley including leadership, keeping them apprised of quality, infection prevention and control, protocols, best practice standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements: * Required Qualifications:* * Current valid LPN license. * 3 years progressive experience in quality improvement in healthcare facility. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field. * Training or education related to infection prevention control, preferred.
