ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides resident care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and within the scope of the LPN or RN license
Routinely observes and reports on resident's conditions/changes and then documents in accordance with community policies and as required by regulations.
Administers medication/treatment as prescribed within the LPN or RN scope of practice.
Receives, transcribes and executes physician orders.
Implements and evaluates resident's plan of care.
Responsible for the safety of residents under your supervision.
This position has supervisory responsibilities of the care staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A current, valid LPN or RN license is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Supervisory experience preferred.
Education/and or experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
