Job Description & RequirementsCardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)StartDate: 05/09/2022Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2200.00Description: Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients. Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations. Assesses patients understanding of process and informed consent of invasive procedures. Demonstrates the ability to assess cardiorespiratory systems for changes in pediatric to geriatric patients and is able to treat appropriately. Directs and assists in maintenance and handling of special equipment, monitors and instruments. Assists in maintaining basic records and reports. Has knowledge of hospital policies and the functions of other departments. Maintains sterile technique when appropriate. Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.Required QualificationsQualifications: Education: Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained along with an Arkansas License Required Experience: 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology Certifications Required: ACLS, BLSPreferred QualificationsN/AJob BenefitsAllied travel assignments are typically for 13 weeks and offer generous packages that include:
