Walmart Global Tech is looking to hire a Senior Manager II, Design for our Bentonville/Dallas office . As a team, we are responsible for designing all HR applications and products within W almart . This includes everything ranging from associate time tracking, benefit contributions, and employee lifecycle management. We work hand-in-hand with other members of the product, business, and technical teams to deliver high-quality products that enhance the experiences of Walmart associates.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for leading and guiding a team of senior and junior designers to create impactful and effective design solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, assist with professional development and training, and work to create a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to review and understand product requirements, ensuring that design solutions align with business objectives. Set metrics to measure the success of design projects and continuously track progress against goals.
  • Effectively communicate the success of design projects to stakeholders and senior leadership, highlighting the impact of design on business goals.

    • Continuous Learning Capability : The design field is rapidly evolving, so a senior manager of design should have a continuous learning mindset. You should be curious, adaptable, and open to new ideas and methods, always on the lookout for new trends and techniques.

      Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
      2 years' supervisory experience.
