Job Overview
Reporting to the Planning Manager, this position is responsible for
setting production schedules in collaboration with other company or
corporate personnel. This position will work with multiple
departments to ensure production schedules are being met and
optimized.
Responsibilities And Duties
Assist in planning, scheduling, and preparing all phases of the
production of our product from raw material to finished goods.
Coordinate the production scheduling and inventory levels (work in
progress and finished goods).
Accurately complete, process and file all daily production
reports/logs, quality records and any other related production
documentations.
Monitor for any source of disruption in the production schedule and
interact with appropriate personnel to correct and or provide
notice of an issue.
Review production operation and processes and proactively identify
and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of Item Masters and Bills of Material.
Previous experience of materials planning ideally in a
manufacturing environment.
Monitor Master production schedule to ensure on time delivery of
product.
Provide administrative support to the Planning/Scheduling team.
This position will interface with manufacturing personnel, and
supervisors on material status and production issues.
Participate in production meetings and support operational
improvement and capital investment projects.
Must be able to analyze data and be a good problem solver.
Other duties as assigned.
