Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, Walmart/Sam's Club, the National
Account Manager will be responsible for developing accurate sales
forecasts for the wholesale distribution of HARIBO of America
products, and achieving and/or exceeding projected key account
sales goals. In addition, the National Account Manager ensures the
customer's need; company sales objectives and profitability goals
are met, while striving to optimize efficiencies and additional
sales opportunities in assigned national accounts.--Reporting to
the Head of Sales, Walmart/Sam's Club, the National Account Manager
will be responsible for developing accurate sales forecasts for the
wholesale distribution of HARIBO of America products, and achieving
and/or exceeding projected key account sales goals. In addition,
the National Account Manager ensures the customer's need; company
sales objectives and profitability goals are met, while striving to
optimize efficiencies and additional sales opportunities in
assigned national accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES* Create long-term
business relationships with Walmart/Sam's Club and foster a
sustainable competitive advantage for HARIBO of America*
Consistently achieve sales goals and profitability while operating
within budgetary constraints to contribute to the overall
profitability of HARIBO of America.* Partner with Walmart/Sam's
Club to develop and execute promotional sales programs to include
scheduling how funds will be allocated; plan sufficient lead-time
to ensure effective execution.* Submit accurate forecasts to ensure
delivery of the appropriate product to customers in a timely and
efficient manner to achieve profit volume, while remaining within
budgetary guidelines.* Ensure Walmart/Sam's Club needs are met
without compromising the defined HoA market channel strategy;
market and sell products appropriate to the channel as defined
within strategy guidelines.* Maintain effective and timely internal
and external communication with key stakeholders to
ensure--adjustments to customer strategies are understood and
available resources aligned efficiently.* Develop and recommend
annual budget requirements to maximize profit levels within area of
responsibility.* Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the
effective utilization of Trade Promotion Funds to develop and
expand business in assigned national key accounts.* Develop and
maintain a comprehensive understanding of HoA product offering in
order to optimize sales efforts and guarantee fact-based selling;
remain up-to-date with new product initiatives, services and other
relevant information of interest to customers* Stay in tune with
and communicate competitive activity within assigned accounts so
that HoA can react accordingly.QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree in
Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)* Minimum +5
years' relevant job-specific work experience* Strong interpersonal
and fact-based selling skills* Ability to develop and maintain
accurate forecasts, strategic problem solving, and negotiation
skills* Proficient in multi-variable analysis, turning insights
into actionable & effective storytelling* Strong knowledge of IRI
and/or Nielsen systems* Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office
programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.* Ability to
effectively address complex issues in an effective and efficient
manner while working with sensitive and confidential information*
Result-driven with excellent judgment, decision making, and verbal
and written communication skills* Strong business and financial
acumen; organized with attention to detail* Proven ability to gain
commitment and build strategic workplace relationshipsPreferred
Experience* Walmart/Sam's Club sales experience strongly preferred*
Customer experience working with McLane and/or Coremark* Confection
and/or other food category experience* Experience with CPFR and
customer Replenishment (GRS, etc.)* Direct or Indirect experience
working Retail or In-store * Ability to work in a fast-paced
