professionalism. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join
our team. This position will be the general upkeep and maintenance
of SMSI's shop and office locations. Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
DOE Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for
ensuring the facility's buildings, equipment, and systems are
properly maintained. Perform a wide range of repairs and upgrades,
including but not limited to general handyman work, plumbing
repair, installation, and assembly of various things. May include
tasks like snow removal and other general upkeep duties. Perform
preventative maintenance. Identify safety concerns and coordinate
corrections. Maintain a schedule for maintenance projects with
assistance from the operations coordinator. Travel to both office
locations depending on the tasks required. Special tasks as
assigned. This position is safety sensitive. Qualifications: Must
have 5 years of maintenance experience. Must have experience in
mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, building, and equipment
maintenance. OSHA 10 certification, highly preferred. Class E
driver's license, highly preferred for use of company vehicles.
Handyman experience is highly preferred. Forklift certification is
a plus. Able to recognize safety concerns. Ability to handle
physical workload. Proficiency with different tools and equipment.
Ability to keep records and have good housekeeping and organization
