Job Description:
Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children's Shelter is seeking a
compassionate and organized Program Coordinator to join our team in
making a substantial difference in the lives of homeless children
and their mothers. As a pivotal component of our mission, the
Program Coordinator will oversee the structuring, implementation,
and evaluation of programs that support and promote independence
and success for our clientele through personalized life plans. This
role involves direct interaction with program participants and
collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the provision of
effective services and support. Develop and coordinate effective
program schedules and activities tailored to the needs of
participants. Engage with participants to assess needs and monitor
progress towards personal and programmatic goals. Train, supervise,
and motivate program staff and volunteers to ensure they provide
the best care and support. Establish and maintain relationships
with stakeholders, including donors, community organizations, and
government agencies, to enhance program resources and outreach.
Oversee administrative tasks such as budget management, funding
proposals, and reporting to donors and boards. Continually assess
and report on program progress and effectiveness, implementing
improvements as needed. Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficient in
Microsoft Office and program management software Understanding of
issues facing homeless populations and the ability to work
sensitively with this demographic Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in
Project Management (e.g., PMP) preferred but not required. First
Aid and CPR certifications.
